AI Ethics and AI Law continue to overlap and conflict, thus requiring multi-dimensional problem-solving in the real-world context. Not all factors are necessarily equal in weight or significance.

Fundamental principles in AI for Good like transparency, inclusion, responsibility, impartiality, reliability, security and privacy should be strictly adhered to.

AI systems are becoming integral to our daily lives and solving the world’s most challenging problems; however, some are filled with untoward biases and inequities with the emergence of Algorithm Decision Making (ADM). Enabling more people to get mortgage loans, for example, would be great, but we should ensure that the AI system should not embed racial or gender biases in making these loan decisions.
